Enjoy A Streamlined Remodel With Pros

Choosing a contractor for your remodeling project is one of the most important decisions you could make for your home. And if you choose us, we don’t take that decision lightly.

As you embark on your remodeling journey, we want to equip you with as much information as we can so that you can make the best decision possible for your home.

That’s why we share the transparent experience that each one of our clients goes through (and results in a fantastic time). You can learn more about our seamless 12 step process below.

Every Step Of Your Remodeling Journey Explained

Get to know how your remodel project takes shape with a step-by-step description of our work process. Your goals will remain at the top of our priority list.

10-15 min

Step 1. Phone Consultation

After you submit the contact form with your project details, you’ll receive a phone call from us. We’ll go over the essential details of your project, such as timeline, ballpark pricing, and total scope, and then schedule your on-site consultation.

1 Week

Step 2. On-Site Consultation

We’ll come over as scheduled to meet you in person and have a good look at the project site. We’ll inspect the space thoroughly and iron out the specifics of the remodel together. By the end, you’ll be able to clearly visualize the result.

1 Day

Step 3. Contract Signing

Once we’re on the same page about the project details, we sign the contract. At the time of signing, we’ll make sure you’re entirely comfortable and on top of things, with a clear understanding of what’s involved in your project. Your peace of mind is a priority at every step.

1 Week

Step 4. Design Phase

This is where the fun part starts! We’ll translate your remodel ideas into a plan so you can better visualize how everything will look before getting started. Depending on the scope of your project, you’ll get a drawing or 3D rendering of your future space.

Same Day

Step 5. Protecting Your Home

After setting up our equipment, we install the ZipWall Dust Barrier System to make sure that areas of your home not being worked on are 100% protected. Like this, your home will remain structurally sound, sealed, and sheathed, keeping dust, dirt, and debris to a minimum.

Within 2 Weeks of Signing

Step 6. Pre-job Walkthrough

Before we get started, we walk you through the work site to go over everything. You’ll learn what to expect over the coming weeks and get answers to any questions you may have. If there’s anything you want us to look out for, like a dog roaming around or your toddler’s nap time, just let us know.

1 Week

Step 7. Working On Your Project

As the project progresses, you’ll be updated through our client portal with daily progress pictures and logs you can trace back if you’re away. All you have to do is sit back, relax, and watch your space come to life.

Within 2 Weeks of Signing

Step 8. Spotless Clean-Up

Once we’ve laid out the final project details, our cleaners will step in to professionally tidy up your space. We want you to enjoy a fresh and spotless reveal. Your property will be left in pristine condition.

1 Week

Step 9. Post-Job Walkthrough

Once the project is finished, we take you on a final job walkthrough to make sure that we haven’t missed a thing. If you spot anything, we’ll take care of it right away. You’ll also have 3 days to perform your own detailed inspection at your own pace and make sure everything is how you wished it to be.

Within 2 Weeks of Signing

Step 10. Warranty and Follow-Up

You’ll enjoy a 5-year warranty on our labor, so if anything comes up, we’ll always be there to help. You’ll also get the manufacturers’ warranties for the materials.

At the 6- and 12-month marks, we visit your home to ensure everything is in place and functioning properly. After the 1-year period, we’ll still be available to handle repairs and any other updates you may need.

Josh and his team were amazing to work with. He’s transparent about the work, the pricing, timelines, etc. His communication is the best you could hope for from a contractor and the subs he utilizes are top quality.

I foresee a lifetime relationship with his company after finishing our basement, which consisted of a lounge (theatre and bar), kids play room, bedroom and en-suite. I recommend Silhouette to all friends who need a great contractor.
